How to save money while shopping brand new car?

Documents to exports cars from Dubai to Africa
- Police Paper about the vehicle (There will be clearance paper from the police regarding no offenses and no fine over dues. This is very important to have it in your hand before the shipping.)
- Vehicle clearance certificate (No objection certificate from RTA)
- Insurance documents (with proper dates of expiry and services covered)
- Passport copies (it is a must to have the copies of the person who is shipping the car)
- Visa in UAE and the Visa copies of the place where you are sending the car to.
- Destination address with at least 2 working contact numbers (there should be a valid person who should collect the car from destination. In some cases, their passport copy needs to be submitted)
- Bill of shipping and landing (Applicable for sea and air transportation only)
Get your documents right
The first and foremost step is to cancel the vehicle registration. You need to visit the nearby RTA (Road and Transport Authority) and hand in all required documents related to the cancellation and collect the export certificate. For getting all these documents, you need to have:
- Vehicle registration card (original)
- Passport & Emirates ID (Original and copies)
- Export Insurance Certificate
- Passport copy of the person receiving the car in the final location
- The car license plates
Once you are done with the first stage, make sure your car is registered. Otherwise you need to have an export vehicle test at the registered RTA testing centers. The officers will be checking the chassis number on the body of the car against the number on the engine to ensure the matching. It may inquire a charge for carrying out the test. If the vehicle is not in your name but in company’s name, you may also have to submit the trade license of the company.
